About Us

Sunray Children Foundation Uganda was founded in 2008 with a vision to restore hope to children living in poverty and difficult circumstances. Our organization provides shelter, education, nutrition, and moral guidance to prepare them for a brighter future.

We operate across multiple communities, working closely with local leaders to identify children who need our support the most. Our holistic approach ensures that each child receives not just material support, but also emotional and spiritual care.

To bring light and love to the lives of underprivileged children through holistic care—spiritually, physically, and emotionally. We believe every child deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Lubowa Micheal Derrick

Executive Director

Micheal has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit management and is passionate about creating sustainable change for children.

Jacobson Elissa Ann

Program Director

Elissa oversees all our evangelical and educational programs and ensures every child receives quality education and care.

Bakale Emelda Janepher

Community Outreach Coordinator

Emelda builds relationships with local communities and identifies children who need our support the most.
